About the Program: The Learning Lattés series is a welcoming, informal learning experience designed to spark meaningful conversations, professional growth, and community connection over your favorite morning beverage. This series brings together talent development professionals in a relaxed setting where ideas flow as easily as the coffee, creating space to explore emerging trends, share best practices, and learn from one another’s real-world experiences. Each session is intentionally crafted to be enriching yet approachable, blending insight, dialogue, and networking in a way that fuels both professional development and genuine connection within our ATD CT community.

Program location: Sessions are hosted at the Fairfield University Store in partnership with Starbucks, located at Fairfield University Store. This comfortable and convenient venue offers the perfect backdrop for conversation and collaboration, inviting attendees to grab a latt, settle in, and engage in thoughtful dialogue right in the heart of Fairfield.

Filling in the Blanks - Volunteer in the Community (13 Jun 2026)

About the Program: The ATD CT Chapter is proud to partner with Filling in the Blanks for a meaningful volunteer opportunity to help fight childhood food insecurity in our local communities. Join fellow talent development professionals for a hands-on experience focused on giving back, building connections, and making a tangible impact for children and families in need. Together, we’ll support Filling in the Blanks’ mission by assisting with warehouse packing activities that help provide meals to children facing food insecurity throughout Connecticut.

Registration Requirements: To help us manage attendance and coordinate our volunteer headcount, all participants must register through ATD CT and complete the required Filling in the Blanks registration and waiver at least one week prior to the event. New volunteers must create an account through the Filling in the Blanks volunteer portal, complete all required prompts (including the waiver and qualification section), and then register for the volunteer shift using the event registration link.

Helpful Tips for Attendees: Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, as all activities will take place in a warehouse environment.The warehouse entrance is located at the double doors.

About Filling in the Blanks: Filling in the Blanks is a Connecticut-based nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood food insecurity by providing meals to children in need on weekends and during school breaks. Through community partnerships and volunteer support, the organization helps ensure children have reliable access to nutritious food outside of school hours.
